The motel is located close to the town center. It is a beautiful property with gardens that were in bloom even in winter. Lots of spaces to sit around the property to read a book or dine with others. Brekky brought to the room in the morning was super and at the time we nominated. Staff are lovely and super friendly. The property appears to have been renovated recently and the rooms are clean, comfy and the rest rooms are modern.

Sad to say goodbye to our cute as a button ‘retro’ find in P.D. … sometimes you come across a gem totally by accident and so glad we did .. loved staying at The Port Douglas Motel. Cute, clean as a whistle, funky rooms with great decor and a communal BBQ/kitchen area right beside the sparkling 60’s inspired motel pool area. Will definitely be coming back … oh .. and a quick stroll to everything P.D has on offer from dining to touring to art viewing .. loved it.

Our room was beautifully appointed and incredibly comfortable, from the beautiful furnishings to the luxurious bed with pillows to die for. The bathroom was very functional and lovely to look at. The complimentary water in the fridge was greatly appreciated as were the very nice toiletries. The airconditioner was whisper quiet.

All new, clean, beautifully decorated, comfy bed, a pristine and clear bathroom with natural light, walking distance to a major cafe strip. Fair honest price. Way much better than a number of hotels that I stayed in my many trips to Caloundra. The manager was really helpful and courteous. Don't hesitate: book it.
