If you would like to discover the area, cycling is possible in the surroundings and the lodge can arrange a bicycle rental service. Everything was amazing! The house and the view are spectacular. Ricardo and Ana are the most amazing caretakers of the house and simply the nicest people who made our experience even better. If you are looking for a place to recharge your batteries, it doesn’t get better than this. Don’t be afraid of the dirt road that leads to the house - we rented a Ford Puma and we arrived just fine.

At the lodge guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub. What a view! We got a balcony room overlooking the mountain and towns below, as well as the pool and cute bar area downstairs. The room itself is quite small, but the bed was great and we really stayed here to be near the scenic area and Fisgas de Ermelo, the truly epic waterfall within a 20 minute drive of the property through the beautiful mountain area. The host was great, friendly to talk to and gave us some great tips (plus a quite good affordable bottle of wine for the evening). Make sure to bring dinner with you or stop before you come for the evening as there is nothing in the immediate area. Breakfast was quite good too. There is also a pool and hot tub, although it was too cold for us to use those (even in July). Overall, if you're driving through the area, it's worth a stop!

A continental breakfast is available each morning at the lodge. Everything! It’s so cozy and comfortable, the jacuzzi is amazing. The check in was easy, the contact to the host was really nice. He send us ideas for restaurants and trips in the area. We even got a bottle of wine from the host. We loved staying here.

Opening to a terrace with mountain or river views, all units at the lodge are fitted with a kitchen with a fridge and a microwave. A stovetop and toaster are also offered, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. The apartments are clean and cozy with all general purpose things you could need for your stay. The surroundings are amazing, forests with mushrooms and trees. Also great for kids to be able to learn about farm animals and rural environments.

Offering an outdoor pool, Equinaturi is set in Santo Tirso, 24 km from Porto. Braga is 26 km from the property. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property, and air conditioning is available at some units. I like the property it was so bright and green right in mountains and has amazing swimming pool and place to park the car.

Set 27 km from Music House, RiverHouse - Near River - Near Ocean - Near Porto offers accommodation in Porto with access to a hot tub. Guests staying at this lodge have access to free WiFi and a balcony. The land, river, and neighborhood were absolutely stunning. The hot tubs were absolutely wonderful. The host was delightful, very responsive, and helpful.

The lodge is equipped with a cable flat-screen TV. The kitchenette features a fridge, a microwave and a stovetop, as well as coffee machine and kettle.

A barbecue is available for guests to use at the lodge. We were there only for two nights, but it was amazing experience. The owner of these house is very friendly ane helpful. We recommend this place for 100% because it’s really different experience than stay in central apartments. :)

Offering garden views, Quinta do Candeeira in Santa Maria da Feira offers accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and a tennis court. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. It was a true pleasure staying at the quinta. Viviana and Carlos, our hosts, were above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable experience: showing us around the property, sharing with us their knowledge on plants, farm animals and more, offering us to try new and delicious fruits (like a melão-pera, who new?), etc. The salt water pool was at a delicious temperature, the gardens were so beautiful and the bed, super comfortable. The location is very close to the beautiful medieval castle of Santa Maria da Feira, a must, and to other places of interest like Aveiro and of course, Porto. It was so nice to have fresh-laid eggs for breakfast, and to wake up to the sound of church bells and roosters! Finally, it was not clear on the description if we were going to have access to a private bathroom, but we did: the property has four bedrooms upstairs and two full bathrooms. If you rent only one room, they leave the one next to it free, so you don't have to share a bathroom... convenient!
