This place is deep in a canyon, middle of nowhere with much better amenities than most South American cities. Staff were incredible and spoke amazing English. Great tips and Information given. Two things to highlight: how candid Mr. Claudio's family was and how abrupt, grand and welcoming the landscape felt. I'd highly recommend this place for hikers looking for relaxation and couples looking for a honeymoon.
It is a little paradise. Really great to relax far from civilization. Pool area was amazing, it was just missing sunbeds but it was ok to sunbathe on the grass as well. Food was simple but the host was really trying to accommodate even with vegan food. We stayed 2 days and each time I got a different meal. The lodges were simple but clean and the bed was very comfortable. You had no choice but to relax as there was nowhere else to go.
Very basic lodge, which was far from clean, especially the bathroom. The location of the camp is really fabulous with the natural hot springs you can use.
We booked a double toom deluxe at the lodge. The room is quite big and the bed is comfortable. The shower is hot.
We arrived and the place hadn’t electricity, it can happen but just another add on to the bad experience. The house was floated when we showered. They don’t accept card payment and this isn’t mentioned anywhere in the booking process or the information about the lodge. This place might have been incredible 10 years ago when it was new but no efforts have been made to keep it alive in decent conditions. To make it even worse, we got food poisoning.
A beautiful ecolodge in the centre of the oasis! The rooms are basic but comfortable, the hosts are extremely kind and helpful, and the food is delicious. Cozy and comfortable, a great place to stay after a long day of trekking or to prepare for the final ascent :)
The lodge is so beautifully peaceful and the staff are lovely. Our room had fabulous views over the valley and the food is very good. Jose recommended a fantastic circular walk from the property which is highly recommended
Great location with (very clean) hot springs at the river to relax in after hiking the Colca Canyon. The lodge is run by a family and the staff is very helpful. The cabins are basic but sufficient. We would recommend to stay here if you're hiking the Colca Canyon!
After a 5-hour hike from Cabanaconde (recommended to start at Homestay Pachamama!) we arrived at the lodge in Llahuar. The stay has several tiny lodges and 3 hotspring which are very nice after a day of hiking. In the evening, you have the opportunity to order some food at their place for a good price.
amazing located lodge. We loved the hot springs and the basic lodges. great stay
The lodges were very cool! Lovely to stay the night in such a simple, but fun lodge. It isn’t fancy or anything but what would you expect? It’s just as the pictures show. The hotsprings were very cool and warm all the time, would loved to stay an extra night. The guy who worked there was really nice. First the payment via PayPal didn’t work, but it worked eventually because I could use his phone and wifi. Thanks again!
