The property was perfect for us as a couple. Close to La Fortuna and far enough away that you were out of the busyness. The kitchen was stocked well enough to make simple meals. King bed was comfortable. The view of Arenal Volcano was amazing when it wasn’t too cloudy. The patio was sheltered from the rain so you could still enjoy coffee outside in the morning. Property felt secure with remote control opening and closing.

Everything. My plan behind staying at this property was to be in contact with nature and more specifically, to take the night tour and see snakes. We saw 6 snakes in total, plus a bunch of other animals (frogs, insects, spiders, etc…). Besides that, things that were great: staff was great, they gave us a better room than the one we got, wifi was actually great, breakfast was awesome, and the accommodation is not far from Downtown La Fortuna.

Flora Glamping de Abuela was an amazing experience! It's a local family owned business. We stayed there for 4 nights, and even before we got there we contacted the host: Evi, who helped us a lot with planning our stay at La Fortuna and book some attractions. The place has an amazing location! Just outside the city but 5 minutes drive so you can enjoy the quiet and the perfect view of the Arenal volcano and still feel close to the city. Evi was available for us at all times with every question or help we needed. The room was spacious and clean but take into account that the toilet and shower are in the same space as the rest of the room. However with only 2 glamping tents you can really feel the privacy. The shared kitchen was well equipped with all the things we needed, and was designed optimistically.

The staff was excellent. The view was perfect (see photo). The bungalow was extremely well made. Excellent construction. I think this room was newly refurbished. Good wifi. No bugs in the room (that we didn't let in ourselves). Excellent water pressure. Wildlife from the balcony. A common kitchen and area we could have used, if desired. Free parking. A restaurant with the basics. Great location to nice places to eat. 20 minutes from La Fortuna and 20 min. from Mystic Hanging bridges.
