We had a wonderful time in Casa Nativo, a stunning endeavour just outside Jardin. Built on the crest of a ridge, the hotel has fantastic views in three directions. Built in and amongst the trees, one for nature lovers and fans of modern design. A beautiful building, entwined with the forest. Better still, the hosts, Matthew and Daniela are truly an inspiring couple, warm and friendly, accommodating and flexible. Their project may not yet be completely finished, but Daniela’s cooking is already fantastic, so do not worry about staying on the property in order to eat lunch or dinner. Matthew not only picked us up and dropped us off, but he came back to town to deliver a left-behind tablet. He also organised a fantastic tour to a nearby coffee finca, which served us a delicious lunch and involved a great walk through the fields and nearby forest. Understand that you’ll be a bit outside Jardin proper, but, nevertheless, go for it!

Surrounded by nature, it’s quiet, you hear and see a lot of birds. The whole place has such a good energy, I just wanted to stay for 1 night, but extended for another night. The staff is super friendly, the facilities are clean. I really like the whole setting of the lodge (many hammocks, chill areas, yoga mats you can borrow…). A big plus for me was that there are many hiking trails around it and after a hike you can enjoy the hot tub! :) I would 100% recommend this place!

The property is very relaxing and rooms are clean, the lodge is about 10 min from Jardin’s main park, very quiet. I loved the jacuzzi to relax after a long day of hiking to the cave. Breakfast was great. I recommend Gulupa, great spot to reconnect with nature and even zip line or climb into several tree canopy’s, what I also loved, is that they are Pet Friendly too, as many local hotels aren’t.DannyYoung couple

Seing the whole valley when waking up, the sunset at the end of the day from the nets… AMAZING! Nice rooms, nice restaurant, nice jacuzzi. We loved it all.
