The location seems out of the way at first but the area is great if you want more of a chilled time. A scooter is essential if you want to explore the island

He comes directly to the pier and takes you through your accommodation and does the same when you leave, free of charge. He is always available to give you advice and help, always smiling. This guy is a legend! I wish you the best for the future, thank you again my friend!

The owner(DK mama as we called her), she was so caring,helpful and super funny at the same time, literally made me feel like I was home while staying there. And the location was fantastic as well, a few minutes walk to Chawang beach and with 7-11 and many street vendors nearby, easily one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in Thailand! If you ever decide to visit Koh Samui, highly recommend staying at this hotel! DK1’s the best!
