It is close to the main station, and the facilities are excellent. The staff was really friendly, they offered tips on what to see around the area, and made an effort to make small talk with me in japanese even though I only speak the language a little. There's a rooftop with amazing views of mount Fuji where you can relax and enjoy your meals/drinks, and you can rent their foldable bikes for free to visit the surrounding lakes.... Oh, and did I mention the free snacks? You get free snacks... Everything was amazing :)

HOSTEL MICHIKUSA-YA er staðsett í Fujikawaguchiko, í innan við 1 km fjarlægð frá Kawaguchi-vatni og býður upp á gistirými með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði og sameiginlegri setustofu. The host Michi was extremely friendly, funny and flexible (and very accommodating)! Exploring Kawaguchiko and getting to its attractions (onsens, hikes, caves, etc.) without a car and only using public buses is not so easy, but Michi gave lots of good suggestions on how one could do so. The common area and the garden was very beautiful (see the photo attached!)

Set in Fujikawaguchiko, 2.5 km from Fuji-Q Highland, K's House Fuji View - Travelers Hostel offers accommodation with a garden, private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. - The room was spacious. It can fit 2-4 people. It wws also Japanese Inspired with the traditional doors and tatami mats. - Amazing Mt. Fuji View from my room and the observatory. - Staff is very accomodating.

Hostel Mt. Fuji - FUKUYA is set in Fujiyoshida, 1.4 km from Fujikyu Highland. Gekkoji Station is 450 metres away and Fujisan Station is 1 km away. Complimentary tea and coffee are available. Everything was great, the host was very friendly and made us a delicious breakfast each morning. The location is great with very good access to train and bus. The views around the area are beautiful. I would recommend it.

Hostel & Salon Saruya er staðsett í 5 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Shimoyoshida-stöðinni og býður upp á enduruppgerð 80 ára gistirými í japönskum stíl með ókeypis WiFi. I stayed in the dormitory, where i was given a futon and a night lamp. I went in April, which is a pleasant weather, and the room was well insulated. Everything was really clean. They even had a few desks where i could work during midday. And there's a delicious South Indian restaurant (南インドカレー カリアムドゥ) next door!

Fujiyoshida Youth Hostel er í aðeins 10 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá Fujikyu Highland-skemmtigarðinum og býður upp á herbergi í japönskum stíl. ókeypis Wi-Fi Internet í móttökunni. The staff was very friendly, even though we arrived late at 10:30. It is not normal to arrive that late, as there is no more public transportation that late, but it was not a problem. The woman was very kind and explained everything.

Situated in Fujikawaguchiko, 八-Hachi- Accommodation has free bikes, garden, shared lounge, and free WiFi throughout the property. New accommodation, the staff is very friendly and helpful, they speak good english. There are bycicles free of charge. The room was spacious and clean. The futon very comfortable. The bathroom and toilet are shared and very clean.

Dot Hostel&Bar 富士山 is located in Fujikawaguchiko. With a shared lounge, the property also has a bar. American breakfast is available. We stayed in a beautiful twin room which was roomy enough for luggage, a small table and chairs. It included a full bathroom with a tub shower. The lounge area was comfortable and pleasant to hang out in. The kitchen facilities were comfortable enough so that someone could make simple meals for themselves. We traveled to the area by bus, and the bus stop was adjacent to the hostel. Just be careful watching the bus schedule, early and late times are not available. The location was terrific. We had great views of Fujisan, an enjoyable garden area along the lake, and miles of walking or biking path.

We loved our stay at Tocoro, staff was super friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. So, the bathrooms and shower rooms were Amazing! Defenitely a Place to reccomend for an enjoyable stay near Fuji-san area. Grazie!!
