Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. The staff were so friendly and the cafe and restaurant were wonderful! The beds were also super comfortable.

Place is very clean, owner speaks English and is very helpful and considerate. The dormitory has 12 people capacity but it is not fully used on purpose, in order to keep the place comfortable for all guests. The Mt Fuji view from the shared space/garden is spectacular in the morning, on a clear day (see my pic). Hostel is located in a quite neighborhood a bit out of the tourist attractions, 15-20 minutes walk from the bridge. I stayed there for two nights and rented a bike for 2 days so I can ride back to the hostel. Would definitely stay again.

Hostel Mt. Fuji - FUKUYA is set in Fujiyoshida, 1.4 km from Fujikyu Highland. Gekkoji Station is 450 metres away and Fujisan Station is 1 km away. Complimentary tea and coffee are available. The host was amazing, being so nice and caring with us, as well as helping us plan the trip. Great location, very good breakfast and very comfy beds. I strongly recommend.

Hostel & Salon Saruya ligger 5 minutters gang fra Shimoyoshida Station og tilbyder renoverede 80 år gamle japanske ferieboliger med gratis WiFi. The hostel is really taken care of, especially for the design and people that are working there! I liked all the details of the place and their café where to have breakfast.

Fujiyoshida Youth Hostel ligger blot 10 minutters kørsel fra forlystelsesparken Fujikyu Highland og tilbyder private værelser i japansk stil samt gratis WiFi i lobbyen. Der er møntvaskeri på stedet. Excellent, it was a wonderful experience to stay there, we like the Japanese style room with tatami room, and have a sight of mount fuji from our window view. And the location is near by Shimoyoshida Street just 3min walk with not crowded and have a clearly mount fuji view in the early morning. Kindly and polite host to guide us. We are not regret to stay here.

New accommodation, the staff is very friendly and helpful, they speak good english. There are bycicles free of charge. The room was spacious and clean. The futon very comfortable. The bathroom and toilet are shared and very clean.

The location is only 3 mins walk from the Kawaguchiko station. Easy to find food. Room was comfortable and clean. Toilets and shower area are clean too. Staff was helpful.
