El Taketa Ekimae Hostel cue es un alojamiento de madera reformado, situado a solo 1 minuto a pie de la estación de JR Bungo-Taketa. También hay un jardín y una terraza. A wonderful hostel. It's an old Japanese style building, which I found very charming. The dorm rooms and the single rooms are fairly spacious (for hostel standards). Everything is very clean and cozy. There are 2 common areas ( one western style and one Japanese style living room), and a kitchen. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Taketa itself is a very quiet, small place. I did some hikes around town and St Mt aso, though public transport to the trailheads is difficult, so plan that we'll. Breakfast was also lovely (especially the French toast were very tasty!) I extended my stay because I so thoroughly enjoyed being there.

The room and facilities were super neat and clean. Would 100% recommend.

The beds were comfortable, and the hostel had good facilities, including a common room, although I didn't use them very much. The hostel is in a good location for a lot of Onsen and the hot springs.
