Everything— the staff, the guests, the locals that came past for dinner, the two dogs and cat. It was perfect

Hostel is a 5-10 minute walk to the cliffs/beach where you get stunning views of the coastline and a great base from which to explore North Cornwall. Nice breakfast, hot showers and comfy beds! Fridges in rooms and a usable kitchen is a nice touch that you don't normally get in UK hostels. Value for money way above that of a local hotel or BnB. Hope to return again in the future.

Set in a Georgian mansion, YHA Penzance features a traditional restaurant and leafy gardens. Penzance Seafront is a 15-minute walk away, and Newlyn Harbour is just 1.5 miles away. Great staff and accommodations would stay there again.

Offering free WiFi throughout the property, Tolcarne Guest House is set in Newquay, 400 metres from Great Western Beach and less than 1 km from Towan Beach. Really nicely located and clean, allowed me to quite an early check in. Tom is one of the most welcoming hostel personnel I’ve ever had. He is real friendly. Completely recommend this hostel

Set in Sennen, 1.7 km from Nanjizal Beach, Lands End Hostel and B&B offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. Lovely room, clean with everything you could need. Staff friendly and helpful, the kitchen was well equipped. Good Wi-Fi and a lovely breakfast if you pay for it which I highly recommend if you are travelling light as I was as there is no local shop to walk too.
