Super friendly atmosphere. Cozy place and even though staying in a dorm, I could still get some privacy. ☺️

Great location, lovely people and it has all you need. There is a nice kitchen where you can meet people or make food. The room has AC and a comfy bed. The staff is soooo great at this place. We were well received and helped throughout our stay. I also recommend booking a surf lesson with the hostel, we had a great time. Thanks everyone!

Located in Pavones, 1.2 km from Playa Pavones, Hostel Esperanza provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. Amazing hostel in Pavones, perfect for surfing as it's literally 3 minutes walk from the main surfspot. Comfortable dorms and great kitchen, super well equipped! Charlie was super helpful and gave me great advice to always chose the right board (he has a very good selection of boards to rent). Last but not least, the vibe at Esperanza was great, I really felt at home there!

Lloc humil pero increible al mig de la jungla. El Propietari Juan Carlos ens va tractar de manera extraodinaria. A més a més, ens va organitzar un tour d'una excursió per la jungla on finalment arribaben a un riu. Alla vam passar la nit en unes habaques. Va ser una experiencia inoblidable! Si vas a Drake, no crec que hi hagi lloc millor on quedar-te.

Located in Monteverde, Costa Rica 15 min from the Santa Elena town , Hakuna Matata Guest House offers free WIFI all day. In reception you can by the activities and have a free info of the area. Very very kind hosts. Eric and Dayi are the best. They gave us advice of what to do and see in Monteverde. They are really trying to give you a great experience in Monteverde and Costa Rica. We definitely enjoyed our two days and would love to come back. The breakfast was perfect with very delicious pancakes.

Bolita Trails and Lodging offers accommodation in Dos Brazos de Rio Tigre, 14 km from Puerto Jimenez. The property offers 14 kilometers of hiking trails, adjacent to Corcovado park. What an amazing experience. The hostel is situated on the border of Corcovado National Park and offers a budget friendly alternative to hiking in the jungle and spotting wildlife. We saw sooo many different types of birds,insects and even a snake. The hiking trails are easy to find and well maintained. Bear in mind that you will need to trek 30 min to get to the hostel and bring enough food to cook yourself during the duration of your stay. There is no fridge, so plan accordingly.

Located in Pavones, 500 metres from Playa Pavones, Surf Shack Room #1 provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. At the hostel, all rooms are equipped with a terrace. The location was fairly quiet as there wasn't much road traffic going by. There was AC and the shower had hot water, which my wife loved. The kitchen was an ample size and had everything we needed; even Tupperware to keep our extra food so we didn't leave it in the pans. The rooms didn't feel cramped and had shelf space to put our things. The beds we're comfy and the towels were soft. The covered common area outside the kitchen was a great place to eat and for my wife to work. We would stay here again.

The owners Heiner y Jenny are exceptional people- super welcoming and happy people. I was there with my two little boys and we all loved it! They have animals on the farm and beautiful wildlife and great nature all around. Plus Jenny is a fantastic cook!
