La Musica Hostel OuroPreto ligger i Ouro Preto, en kort bit från Inconfidencia Museum, och erbjuder utsikt över staden. This is the nicest and the friendliest hostel on Earth! I loved this place!!! I stayed in a female dorm - it was awesome because there are no bunk beds! Mattress was super comfortable, room was spacious enough and it had this vibe of a mountain house (just a heads up there is a lot of stairs - first to the hostel, then to the dorm - not a problem just a remark for people with reduced mobility or ginormous suitcases). It seemed like a mixed dorm had a beautiful view over main square and from the kitchen there was a view over the town, all the churches and the mountains. But the most important thing were the people! This hostel has such a nice vibe you seriously just want to stay there forever! It has all the Rodney (owner) personality and the volunteers were the nicest people on Earth! It was also super clean, couldn’t be better located and seriously- It’s just perfect! Loved, LOVED this place ❤️❤️❤️

Privat parkering erbjuds på begäran. - my bus rio-BH was 2 house late... so i missed the check in time. but hostel checked me in after hours (they came especially for that!). - that's a nice extra. - hostel agreed to change my check out day (i stayed only the first night out of 5 that i booked) and to return me the money difference. that was another extra, and i appreciate that.

I really appreciated the fact that this hostel is located in the middle of the city, but also feels very safe and well organized within the hostel walls. The hostel entrance is monitored by staff on a 24 hour basis. The hostel also provides lockers for guests to use. There are multiple bathrooms. The rooms are cleaned and beds changed on a regular basis. It really feels like a sancuary in the midst of a bustling city. Going forward, I expect that this will be my default option if I am looking for a bed in this location.

The staff working at the hostel were amazing with their guests. The location was great, there are plenty of places around it. And it has a great bar with good prices for drinks and food.
