Recently stayed at this hostel and had an amazing experience, everyone there was so friendly and welcoming. The owner(DK mama as we called her), she was so caring,helpful and super funny at the same time, literally made me feel like I was home while staying there. And the location was fantastic as well, a few minutes walk to Chawang beach and with 7-11 and many street vendors nearby, easily one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in Thailand! If you ever decide to visit Koh Samui, highly recommend staying at this hotel! DK1’s the best!

I enjoyed my stay here at the hostel it’s not very social the dorms are very private which was perfect for me after it being a big party island.. although the beds were a bit firm I still slept well, it’s about 20 min walk to the main bars/ clubs
