The hostal is centrally located and highly comfortable. Rui, the host, was excellent and always made sure I felt comfortable. During my stay, he recommended several places to eat and hang out. Without a doubt, I would stay there again.

The place is clean and well organised. There is also a space inside which is kind of a balcony where you can chill in the night. The breakfast is good and well furnished: I was happily surprised about how good is coffee (and I'm Italian!) Even though it seems far from the centre, it just takes 15 Min walk. I have never used the bus, except for the 15 that took me to the bus station. I definitely recommend this place.

I had a great experience at Penguin and have only good things to say about my stay. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there is an overall positive community feeling there. The room was well-maintained and I felt safe during my whole stay. It's a great location, 15 minutes from the bus and train stations and only a short few minutes walk from the center of town. The free breakfast every morning and ability to use the kitchen is a huge plus as well :)

It’s amazing and really good/awesome staying. The food/porto wine/coffee/fruits are free. The accommodation was lovely and cute. The price is great and the bed was super comfy.

Beautiful hostel with very modern amenities. In a handy area to town and a 10min walk to bus station for further travel. Overall great stay!

This place is easy to find and well located for shops,bars and amenites. A 10 minute walk gets you to the forum and bus links between faro terminal and the airport.staff are friendly helpful and curtious A fridge and a microwave are available to use in the lobby

Such a beautiful building with huge roof terrace. Authentic feeling in the corridor (tiles on the floor and walls etc). Spacious and big hostel on several floors with many rooms. The room and the bed was prepared perfectly, everything was clean and fresh. Each floor has a kitchen and many bathrooms. Locker was also provided. Location is great, only couple minutes to the very centre. Vegan restaurant (they offer buffet) is also just next door!
