My stay at arenal sloth hostel was amazing! The staff were super friendly, helpful and kind. Jemina is a wonderful person, and does an excellent job. The vibe is super social and I made so many friends here. We shared meals, drinks and so many conversations. The kitchen is super clean and has everything you need. The bed in the dorm was comfy. The whole place was consistently very clean. It's a 10 min walk to town and a 20 min walk to El Salto.

The owner was marvelous. He gave lots of great recommendations for several activities and does not want to sell tours like lots of others. Just perfect!!! This made our trip perfect and I highly recommend the hostel for everyone who goes to La Fortuna. The rooms were clean and we had a nice balkony to sit outside. Great place for families with kids. We even got invited to the dinner with Juan - the owner of the property, and his wonderful wife and friends. Plus we also got a free excursion in the sorrounding garden where Juan grows mangos, avocados, blackberries and meny other fruits. Absolutely recommend.
