Diego is the best host/guide I've ever been. The house is like taken from a 100 years ago, but very well kept, clean, comfortable rooms, warm water and good Wi-Fi. Awesome and relaxing landscapes. Very tasty food.

Our stay at Casa Mochila was amazing. Pat was very kind and helped us with everything we needed. We also got cake for my birthday. We would reccomend everyone to stay here. It is very easy to catch the bus to Salento in front of the hostel, just wave to the driver and they will stop for you. The breakfast in the morning is very tasty! If you want to chill here; there are very nice hammocks available. 10/10 points for this place and the service!

I felt really welcomed by the owners and staff. It's a great place for those who enjoy the nature and tranquility. We booked one of the smaller rooms, but it was beautiful, clean and well-maintained. We were greeted with a cup of delicious coffee and bowl of fresh fruits, the owner showed us their spacious garden, bunnies and birds, it's a good place to relax and connect with nature. There's a small restaurant just steps away and it's a perfect spot if you want to get away from the crowded town of Salento.

Gorgeous view. Not far from the main plaza. In fact, we were happy not to have gotten a hotel at the main plaza. The main square gets noisy in the evening. The hotel is just 5 minutes walking distance from the plaza, but it offers quiet surroundings with a stunning view of the mountains. Even though, the hotel is located on the edge of the village, it is still a 5-minute walking distance from the main square and all the attractions. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
