Just in a walk distance from railway/bus station, near the hostel there is two shops where you can buy food and cook in the hostels kitchen. There is a cheap laundry room. If I come once to Sofia again, I will just stay there! Recommending this place absolutely!

The bed, the pillow and the duvet are comfortable, and the hostel in general is very quiet so you can really rest. While some people prefer "party hostels", I am an introvert and I really do appreciate hostels like this. So if you are like me, you will love Green Cube hostel. The vending machine at the reception is also a GREAT IDEA! It had a very good and cheap coffee.
