Namal, his wife and children were the sweetest and most accommodating people we met during our stays. A genuine heartfelt welcome and a constant will to help us arrange anything we needed. The location of the Homestay, a bit outside of the city centre and with a few steep steps to go up, was definitely the prettiest! A direct view of the Ella Rock and Little Adam’s peak, as well as of the Kuda Ravana waterfall. Wonderful terrace for breakfast, as well as a welcome tea, and cute little private balcony of the room with a swing from where we could enjoy the view. Big and clean bathroom, hot water and WiFi, everything was great. Also one of the most comfortable pillows we found during our stay in Sri Lanka. But again, most importantly, Namal’s family who made it all even better. Huge bonus: Ruby, their lovely dog! Great value for money too, it was definitely more than we expected!

Our room was clean and overlooked the scenic mountains just as it was described. The bathroom was modern and had nice hot water. The patio area was perfect for breakfast. Breakfast was delicious and one of the best we've had in sri lanka. Host Aku was amazing. He checked in with us and communicated with us throughout and answered all our questions. Helped us get a tuktuk if we needed one cause of the rain. And helped us arrange a taxi back to Columbo. The location provided complimentary laundry service which was so helpful for us as we were traveling for a week. Highly recommend!

When we stayed here we spent 1 day around Ella rock and next to the tracks (we went to the cooking class in the vacinity of accomodation) and one day we went through Ella to Little Adam's pick and to the bridge. Everything is accessible on foot. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. On the last day, they took us to the town so that we didn't have to walk all the way down with our backpacks. It was an amaizing experience.
