After a 17 hr layover and no sleep on the plane my girlfriend and I arrived at this beautiful place early around 5am and we’re greeted with very friendly faces. They arranged pick up at the airport and it was seamless and super easy about 30 minutes away. When we got into our room all we heard was the sound of a amazing waterfall coming from the window which was so tranquil and peaceful to take a nap. Even though breakfast was only till around 10am, they were kind enough to still make it. This place has such a zen feeling and beautifully built and clean. The owner of the property’s son Norman was so kind and even offered to take us around town showing us all the highlights of his city and was so welcoming and now have a new friend from Kenya!

She took care of us very well by arranging a very good driver to pick us up from the airport, by cooking us dinner and breakfast and by making us feel very welcoming. Juddy is the kindest, most welcoming host I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. As newcomers to Nairobi, my friend and I were a bit nervous especially after reading about safety concerns online and having everyone in the US warn us. However, Juddy encouraged us to take matatus, told us exactly which ones to take and where to find them, and what rates to expect. She also told us what prices to expect for fruits and other goods, which is really valuable for bartering down the mzungu prices. Without her, we wouldn’t have been able to fully experience Nairobi. The house is in a guarded compound within a safe middle class area of town. The rooms are spacious and clean.
