Located within a few steps of Thong Sala Beach and less than 1 km of Nai Wok Beach, Tea Moon Beach House provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Thongsala. the owners were really friendly and I felt very safe travelling solo. they showed me around the house, gave me a map, told me about places to visit, etc! my room was beautiful, with a sea view, very comfortable with aircon and a fan. the place is quiet, I couldn’t hear any noises, and the location is perfect because you can walk to the pier and to the market and shops.

Offering an outdoor pool and water sports facilities, Baan View Talay Pool Villas is situated in Koh Phangan. Free WiFi is available . These villas are absolutely incredible. They are very private and ours had a lovely view of the hills and sea. The pool is perfectly sized for a family of 4 and although not heated was a very warm. We stayed in a two bed villa which was brilliantly laid out and gave us our own kids/adult spaces. The air con was amazing too as it was very hot on certain days. One of the best things about this place is the staff. Julianee is such a wonderful host and couldn't do enough for us. She happily ferried us to and from the village every day and organised day trips for us and taxis when we wanted to go further afield. Also - the breakfasts are incredible, especially the coffee which is better than any coffee I have ever had in my life. The small village is a ten minute walk away and is like a movie set. Not only does it all look beautiful but the restaurants are all really nice and cheap. We also ate on the beach at Buri Rasa a few times which was nice but our favourite place was Rasta Baby - a really cool bar with a tree house style restaurant serving delicious food. All in all I think Baan View is the best possible place you could stay in this area and definitely the best value for money. We have stayed at the Anantara here before which (although a better location in the middle of all the action) is nowhere near as nice as Baan View, gives you way less space and is about 4 times the price. ps - don't go to the Elephant ''sanctuary''near to the villa - they were chained up and looked utterly miserable and idiotic tourists were riding on their backs which they clearly didn't enjoy as they were clinging onto the railings desperately trying to not have to walk until the person in charge banged them on the head with a sharp spear. Awful place.

300 metres from Haad Yao Beach, Crocus Garden is a recently renovated property located in Haad Yao and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Design was minimalist and tasteful, great light in the room, beautiful views from the balcony.

Situated in Koh Phangan, a few steps from Baan Tai Beach, Soukaina Beach Bungalow features accommodation with pool with a view, free private parking, an indoor pool and a garden. - very very nice and helpful owner! especially worth mentioning - Owner quickly and directly reachable via Whatsapp! - Shampoo and shower gel available - very reasonably priced, but definitely a good bungalow - very basic, but ideal for the price of 700 baht per day - very good toilet paper - I didn't think I'd mention this in a review, but surprisingly good by Thai standards - right on the beach - close to a gym (best to walk across the beach, it's quicker) - Several restaurants in the area - comfortable bed
