The property is on the top of the Balcony Walk village. You can see the astonishing view from this property, sit int the big yard or head to the back hill of this property to see the canyon from top with surrounding cute goats. It’s the best location! Even you don’t go the the Balcony Walk hiking, you can just stay at the property and enjoy the view. The property is really well equipped and so clean! With this view, big kitchen, yard and rooms, you can find it that it’s really valuable because the other properties in this area are so expensive. The host, Ibrahim, is really nice, we drive a small car with 4people and find it hard to drive up. I call the host and he ask his friend nearby to come to us in 10mins to help us. Then his friend drive our car with total 5 people and successfully drive us up to the top! it’s an amazing and exciting experience. Thanks for Ibrahim and his friend’s help. (we also learned the skill how to drive on the steep and sand road. Haha. )

This was an unexpected gem, in an unlikely location. You cannot beat it for location, at the start of the Balcony Walk in Jebel Shams. Mohammed the owner organised for his neighbour Ali (and his wife) to cook dinner and breakfast for us. The food was delicious! The house itself is very comfortable and well kitted out, even if you want to self-cater. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The location was great and the place was very clean. The host was very welcoming. The host made sure that he was aware of when we would arrive so that he could meet us and ensure that all our questions were answered. We were welcomed with qahwa, fresh fruits, biscuits and dates which was very nice. We picked the place because we wanted to take our dog with us, so it was great that the place was pet friendly!

The owner contacted us through WhatsApp and stayed in touch until our arrival. Upon reaching the location, we messaged him, and within minutes, he arrived with the keys and graciously opened the facility for us. The property is well-maintained considering its location, connecting guests to nature. However, be aware that being nestled in the mountains means encountering insects and flies, which cannot be entirely avoided. The host was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Given the remoteness of the location with few nearby restaurants or shops, he kindly assisted us in procuring dinner, especially appreciated after a long drive and fasting. Additionally, we were pleasantly surprised by the warmth of the local community. The Eid prayer, held near the property, was followed by generous hospitality from the locals, who even provided breakfast afterward.
