Sakrisøy Gjestegård - Manor House in Sakrisøy - Solbakken anno 1880 is housed in a former manor house dating back to 1880 and is located in the area of Moskenes. The property overall is beautiful and has so much character and charm! This was our favorite stay on our 2 week trip. They also upgraded our room for free to one of the top floor rooms - the view over the water was beautiful and the room was so cozy. Parking was easy and there were several top restaurants steps away, along with a kayak company. We also were able to walk from the hotel to the top of a nearby hill where there were no lights to watch the Aurora. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with planning the rest of our drive through Lofoten.

Skagakaia is located in Bø i Vesterålen. Offering a restaurant, serving breakfast and dinner based on local ingredients and tradition. WIFi, parking and bed linen are free. Everything. This place is a GEM. It’s a bit out there, but I like places that are a bit more removed. The view is spectacular, the room was clean and comfortable. Additionally, I arrived super late due to ferry schedules and was met by the owner who recognized I’d not eaten and made me dinner. We sat up and chatted for ages, she was so kind. It’s been just amazing and I can’t recommend this place enough.

Set in Bogen and only 44 km from Ofoten Museum, KAB Guesthouse offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The host and the accommodation. The host is very thoughtful, the heater was on prior our arrival, the welcome gift was a surprise and the house is warm and cozy, had everything we needed. Love it and will definitely come again.

Such a stunning, remote location – we couldn’t believe the views. The host was incredibly nice and the apartment was well-equipped, I was pleased to see an induction hob and even a dishwasher. Very comfy bed and the room even had AC, which was quite helpful as it got quite hot during our stay due to the 24 hours of daylight in the summer months. Everything was exceptionally clean as well. I wish we could have stayed longer!

The best guesthouse we've ever stayed at! Breakfast are superb and the view from our room are great! We saw the northern lights right from our bedroom window! Thanks for making us feel at home!

Offering quiet street views, Heimbrygga Restaurant & Accommodation in Skrova offers accommodation and a bar. Beautiful old wooden house at the ferry dock with a lovely shared living room looking out over the water, we loved seeing the ferry's coming in, also a good place to meet fellow travellers. Monica and Mario are great hosts and run a very good restaurantas well, best food we had in Lofoten and at affordable prices. Skrova was our favourite place on Lofoten (together with Reine), it has everything: peace and quiet, wonderful beaches and opportunity to fish or kayak, while not yet overrun by tourists. Fantastic views of the Lofoten islands and midnight sun from the Skrova mountain, which is a 40 to 60 minute hike from the accommodation.
