Has everything you could possibly ask for. Rooms are very comfortable, there are plenty of toilets, bathroom facilities, so no waiting time. The showers come with small onsen, every one of which is uniquely pretty. There are large common areas, which are very social. We even got invited to join the owners steam pot party one evening.

This recently renovated guest house is located 29 km from Kamitonda Concert Hall and 31 km from Hosshinmon Oji Shrine. The guest house has a hot tub and a shared kitchen. Ik was the most welcoming kind host I have come across in a long time. The room was warm and traditional. The food was delicious.

It is located 700 metres from Kumano Hayatama Taisha and offers private check-in and check-out. The guest house features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. what a great little place. If you have a small group, the 4 ppl room on the 3rd floor is perfect. The place has lots of great info in multiple languages and the affiliated izakaya was the perfect place to go for dinner.

The host was really cool and we could tell he is a very welcoming and warm-hearted soul. We appreciated the cleanliness and organization of the place. We really enjoyed the sauna and hot tub that felt brand new. It is also a convenient 10-minute walk to the beach! The host took some memorable pictures of us, which we also really appreciate. This is a special place ran by a genuine, down-to-earth host. Thank you G-Sun for creating a lovely Wakayama experience!

The guest house is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. Staying at Sangenya Guesthouse was one of our best experiences in Japan. The property itself is beautiful, clean and traditional. Of course, the town of Shirahama was also beautiful and having access to the beach within walking distance made it such a great location. We spent some wonderful days at the beach! Unfortunately, one of the days there was a typhoon - however our incredible hosts were so lovely and generous that it was actually a positive experience even when the weather outside was torrential. This trip marked the end of a year in Japan and even as we packed up our things to leave, we were talking about how we wanted to come back to the guesthouse in the future because the property and hosts were so wonderful. We also had some drinks at the property’s café, and both the hojicha and matcha were the best ones we’d tried in Japan!  We absolutely recommend the Sangenya Guesthouse!

The air-conditioned guest house consists of 1 separate bedroom, 1 bathroom with slippers and a hair dryer, and a living room. Towels and bed linen are offered in the guest house. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. He searched and found information for us and even offered to help us make reservations for activities. We stayed here during the winter, but the place was warm and comfortable. It had everything we needed plus free condiments. We would love to stay here again!

Guest House hachi hachi is a very beautiful and clean guest house, near the Koyasan center. Nori, the guest house host, is very kind and helpful, and he gave me a lot of informations about Koyasan. My room was very pretty and clean. I strongly recommand this guest house to everyone who wants to visit Koyasan.
