The location is fantastic, the view is fantastic, the room is fantastic. We came later then expected exhausted from cycling, and the hostess gave us a great dinner. The bathroom is great, shower was so warm even at faucet half open towards warm. There is everything needed in the bathroom, and more! TV with a lot of programs (OK, I needed only croatian ones, but there are slovenian and austrian too), fast and stable WiFi, water kettle and a small fridge, more than enough tables and chairs - and a couch. Yes, the room is big enough that there is a couch. We came by car, but brought our bikes specifically to bike around Istria. Teta San room is next to Parenzana, and a great base for exploring Istria either by bike or by car.

Wonderful breakfast: great variety of fresh local products, all delicious. We had dinner at the restaurant, too - it was also excellent and the owner, who served us, was extremely nice. We'd like to visit the place again.

Boasting a garden, Skalameri is situated in Kozljak in the Istria region, 38 km from Morosini-Grimani Castle and 40 km from Dvigrad Castle. Gorgeous view with beautifull sunset every evening. The Italian hosts were fantastic. 3 out of 4 evenings we had dinner there. Delicious red wine and the homemade truffle pasta was to die for!
