I don't know where to start, but I know how I ended up feeling: like if I was hosted by family member, just after three days. The owners are incredidibly kind and very welcoming - even though they don't speak English they're always ready to "speak" using translating app. They helped me with the natural park tickets, they told me where locals go eating, they've been full of attentions - way above the expectations. On top of it, the place is perfectly located to get to the park first and the room was full of charme and beautifullu decorated. Tujia culture at its best! Thank you!

Abolutely amazing host, Ms. Wang, helped to check in, showed the way to the main attractions and gave plenty of useful advice. The room is spacious and clean, with amazing view over the city.

Set in Zhangjiajie, 2 km from Tianmen Mountain Ticket Office, Tujia folk houses offers accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a bar and a shared lounge. The Tujia folk houses accommodation was fantastic! The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Our host was amazing - we were picked up from the railway station on arrival and dropped off when we left. Our host also provided lots of helpful information about Tianmen Mountain and Zhangjiajie National Park. She dropped us off at the ticket office for Tianmen Mountain and she arranged a taxi to take us to the national park. The pool at the hotel was great for cooling off after a long day out! The view from the pool was beautiful! Overall, great accommodation. And there are two great places to eat nearby!

Rebecca’s hotel was just the perfect choice for us! The location is perfect, just a 10 minute walk to the park entrance and in a very cozy and lively neighborhood. Rebecca, the owner, is the loveliest person, always willing to help with a smile. She even offered to arrange our visit to the park (including the taxi) for multiple days, making our stay much easier. Furthermore, the meals provided by the hotel were always home-made and delicious! The facility is always pristine, with an eye for detail, and the beds are EXTREMELY comfy :)

Boasting barbecue facilities and a garden, Easy House Gaoyun Branch is located in Zhangjiajie, a 15-minute walk from Yuanjiajie. Exceptionally friendly staff. They even invited us for the Chinese New Year feast and gave us red bags!

Mr Lee's Wonder Villa is set in Zhangjiajie, 200 metres from Bailong Elevator and 800 metres from Zixia Taoist Temple. Everything. The responsiveness of the staff to questions pre-arrival and the booking of all our tours for the full stay of four nights was exceptional. They were super friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location in the middle of town close to the river. It is of a rustic/traditional design which we loved. Rooms were clean, had balconies and no issues with water pressure etc in the shower. It was my birthday while we stayed and the staff surprised me with a dinner of ‘longevity’ noodles and a birthday cake. Very touched because the warmth was genuine. They really want you to have a great stay.
