Stunning views from the balcony while having dinner and breakfast. Food was home cooked, traditional and absolutely delicious. Room was comfortable, cool and just what was required for a stopover on the slow boat. Pickup and dropoff for the pier was amazing. Only shame is I didn't know how lovely the area would be and wish I could have stayed a little longer.

It is a family run guest house and it has that feel to it, being very warm and welcoming. The room is basic but very clean and we had a comfortable nights sleep. The location is perfect, you don’t need to get a tuk tuk from the boat, it’s an easy 5 minute walk up the hill. The host made us a delicious breakfast and sandwich ready to take the next day, which was all prepared on time in preparation for our next boat departure. Amazing value for money.JessYoung couple

It was nice that we got picked up from the boat by the hostess. I believe she was able to drop folk off again the following morning, but we opted to walk the 10mins down to the boat. You can also get lunch prepared for the following day at a reasonable price. The room itself was quiet and comfortable for 1 nights stay. There was AC and a fan which was ideal to combat the heat

Amazing view from the room and the balcony, the bathroom was small but efficient. The hostel provides free shuttles from and to the slow boat pier, and you can also pre-order breakfast and takeaway. The bed was comfy, I had a really good night there. Would definitely go back again !

If you are one of the slow boat travelers this is the perfect place for you. Free taxi pickup and dropoff to the pier. Very quiet at night and an unforgettable view from the balcony. The room was clean, the matress was good and every comodity was at a walking distance. The guesthouse is situated in a quiet neighborhood, next to the main area and the city center nightlife (10 min walking). I met great people when we shared the included breakfast. The staff was always happy to help and got me a meal for the slowboat journey, and a free tuktuk ride to pick me up and drive me back to the slowboat.ManyaSolo traveller
