A recently renovated campground located in Bidiyah, Al Salam Desert Camp Bidiya features a shared lounge. Beautiful desert camp in the middle of the Wahiba desert. We booked 3 tents for our group of 6 people and all the tents are spacious with comfy beds, A/C, and bathroom. The hotel is right next to the huge sand dunes and you can easily climb up the dunes at sunrise or sunset without the need of booking their 4x4 jeep tours as the "jeep" won't go very far anyway. The view from the top of the sand dunes is beautiful and peaceful. The dinner and breakfast were also great. We ate camel meat for the first time here. Note that they will charge you extra for drinks at dinner.

Located 50 km from Wadi Bin Khalid, SAFARI-Glamping offers accommodation in Bidiyah-20 kms inside the desert from the village Al Hawaiyah. Clear directions Desert driving (we made it without issues with Toyota RAV 4, 4wd) The place it self - we were lucky to be alone; the host was very kind; we were given a plenty of delicious meals, unlimited water and other drinks; everything was clean and comfortable. This tent has a seating area, bathrobe and soundproofing. Situated in Shāhiq, Alsarmadi Desert Camp features accommodation with seating area. Very nice immersion in the Wahiba Sands desert. The host was extremely careful of the wellbeing of his guests. Willingness to share some of the beduins traditions in a single night.
