Situé à Wilpattu et avec Le réservoir de Kumbichchan Kulama est à 34 km. Priya and his team couldn’t do enough for us and was so attentive with utmost understanding and kindness to our 22month old daughter. The food was fine dining at its best and kept making the chicken soup my daughter couldn’t get enough of. Priya’s knowledge of the wildlife in the park was great and again focusing on wildlife our daughter could see.

This fan-cooled tent has a safe, dining and sofa seating areas. Private bathroom comes with a shower and free toiletries. The staff and service was what stands out the most, they do their best to ensure you are always safe and clean. It's on the expensive side but what you are paying for is the extensive knowledge of the guide on the safari which is missing in other places. We have both learnt a lot about different animals and behaviours on this safari and it's an experience that will stay with us forever

This unique tent is set on the border of the National Park and comes with a private bathroom. Nous avons adoré l’expérience de dormir en « tente » juste à côté du parc L’immersion est garantie. Le personnel est adorable et a votre service ! Nous avons pris 2 repas le soir près du feu de camp, la nourriture est excellente Je recommande vivement !

Endroit très calme et reposant pour voyageurs aimant la nature. Concept original de tente sur pilotis. Chambre confortable et bien équipée, bouilloire, climatiseur. Terrasse agréable. Excellente cuisine, spécialités Sri Lankaise préparées avec amour par un super chef. L'hôte est présent pour veiller au confort des personnes. Safari proposé par la guesthouse dans le parc de Wilpattu que nous avons fait de 6h à 11h. Un chauffeur guide au top. On a ainsi pu observer des éléphants, un guépard, des buffles et une multitude d'oiseaux et surtout faire une belle balade dans un magnifique parc au lever du jour.

Un accueil chaleureux, le lodge est très bien équipé. On a adoré être au plus près de la nature avec le chant des oiseaux. Super safari où l'on a eu la chance de voir plusieurs léopards. Tout est très bien organisé. Nous avons aussi fait un cours de cuisine. Une étape inoubliable dans notre voyage de 3 semaines au Sri-Lanka. Merci pour tout.

The fireplace is the standout feature of this tent. The tent features a washing machine, a private entrance, as well as a private bathroom boasting a walk-in shower and a bath. Wilpattu Green Cabin is a small and friendly family-run establishment in the countryside near Eluwankulama. It is accessible by tuk tuk from the Elwulankulama bus stop. The drivers will know where to go. (It’s about 5 minutes away.) Wilpattu Green Cabin is located right on the Lunu Ela River (I think that is the name) and is a lovely and relaxing spot to take a break. They have two new bungalows with a fan, mosquito nets and veranda that face the river and are spacious, clean and comfy. They also have one room referred to as “the treehouse“ which was entirely crafted out of sustainable “green“ materials. It is more cozy than the bungalows but it is super adorable and has a wonderful vibe. Be prepared to climb a ladder! It costs a little bit more than the bungalows but worth it! They also have a couple air con rooms that are kind of dark and do not face the river in case you absolutely need your AC. You will probably want to purchase lunch and/or dinner at Green Cabin since there is no other easy option but no worries, the meals are tasty and filling. Breakfast was included. The establishment is run by a friendly fellow named Riswan, his brother, sister-in-law and others. Riswan will arrange a Jeep safari to Wilppatu National Park if you like. You can also take a long pole boat ride up the river to look for birds. I did both the Jeep safari and the long pole boat ride and thoroughly enjoyed them. Of note: there is an elephant that sometimes swims the river and sneaks into the adjacent rice paddy for a midnight snack! I would definitely book another stay at Wilpattu Green Cabin, especially in the treehouse!

Featuring carpet flooring, tents come with an outdoor living area and a private bathroom with hot-water showers. Includes a torch, umbrellas and a luggage rack. Beautiful setting. The camp is very spread out and the tents are spacious and clean. I’ve camped all my life and this did not disappoint as it was very luxurious comparatively. Keep in mind it’s still camping but the tents have all of the comforts of home with a full shower and bathroom as well as a sitting room. Upon arrival we received welcome drinks and were given a very informative orientation where they went over the tents, meals and meal options, afternoon tea, night and morning walks as well as the safari options. We chose to go with the full day safari and it did not disappoint, we saw a variety of birds, many deer, water buffalo, a sloth bear and three leopards(a mother and her two cubs). The bbq dinner was fantastic as we sat around a camp fire which was a gorgeous setting. The morning breakfast was also special and incredibly romantic. The staff was top notch and catered to our every need. This is a must experience if you love camping. The tents has no ac but a great fan which made for a good night sleep.
