Το Glamping Wilpattu by Thamaravila είναι ένα κατάλυμα σε Wilpattu, σε απόσταση 34 χλμ από Kumbichchan Kulama Tank και 34 χλμ από Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. Priya and his team couldn’t do enough for us and was so attentive with utmost understanding and kindness to our 22month old daughter. The food was fine dining at its best and kept making the chicken soup my daughter couldn’t get enough of. Priya’s knowledge of the wildlife in the park was great and again focusing on wildlife our daughter could see.

This fan-cooled tent has a safe, dining and sofa seating areas. Private bathroom comes with a shower and free toiletries. Leopard Trails was one of the highlight stays of our Sri Lankan vacation. Its glamping with a capital G, and very good value for money. Just a few km from the Wilpattu park entrance, we went on 2 safaris and of course saw Leopard, Sloth bear, elephant and a bunch of other species. But TBH it was the stay in this luxury camp, with its spacious safari style tent rooms, its wonderful staff and food that was amongst the best we had in Sri Lanka. I 100% recommend staying here.

This unique tent is set on the border of the National Park and comes with a private bathroom. Everything. From the Safari to the night walk, everything was fabulous and a perfect way to end our Sri Lanka adventure before heading back to Negombo. Dinner under the stars was a very special experience and we also got a tent upgrade which we really appreciated :) Our naturalist was very knowledgeable and we learnt so much during the night walk.

Really good location close to the national Park. We were originally supposed to stay in Green Sapphire but they let us down a few hours before we were due to arrive (seems they’ve done it a lot looking at the Google reviews), but the Mango Villa team had everything sorted even though we booked just a few hours earlier that day they were still able to organise 2 full day safaris for the following 2 days where we saw all sorts of great wildlife. Staff are all really friendly, especially the man who brings the food across in the evenings (unfortunately I don’t know his name). The food is good especially considering the remote location and nice packed lunches for the safari each day. Definitely the place to stay if you’re planning a Wilpattu safari!

The fireplace is the standout feature of this tent. The tent features a washing machine, a private entrance, as well as a private bathroom boasting a walk-in shower and a bath. Location in the peace and quiet next to the river. Host was super friendly and gave as a small free wildlife tour around the village. The food was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka having been there for 4 weeks. Arranged a safari at Wilpattu for us.

Featuring carpet flooring, tents come with an outdoor living area and a private bathroom with hot-water showers. Includes a torch, umbrellas and a luggage rack. We spent one night at the camp for a safari and the place was really nice. The food was excellent and the athmosphere around the fire at night was unforgetable. Staff is lovely.
