We have travelled all over Sri Lanka and being nature fans this was our best stay by far. The commodities are quite basic but what you would expect being in total seclusion in the wild. The staff go above and beyond for you and the chef is the best chef by far, it was just incredible to have food of such quality in such a remote area. The morning is when you can sit relax and watch crocodiles pass by and there ate also monkeys and a family of water monitors. The safari with was above and beyond it was just fantastic. The prices for everything were really good. Just a tip if you book and fancy wine or beers make sure to order beforehand. I would recommend this place to everyone thinking of glamping in sri lanka as it exceeded our expectations and more Thankyou to the whole team for giving us a time to remember.

The tent features air conditioning. The unit has 2 beds. Situated in Udawalawe, 19 km from Udawalawe National Park, River View Safari Cottage. A great area in front of the beautiful river. Good value for money, dinner was very good!! And the staff is very friendly. The beds are comfortable and the room is very clean! We took a safari with them and it was great. Totally recommend it

Offering river views, this fan-cooled tent has a private entrance, seating area and extra large bed with spring mattress. It includes a hot water shower, towel and shoe racks. Loved this place soo much!!! Everything is so well tought out! Very beautiful rooms, excellent service, super friendly staff.. defenitly going back!!

يقع مكان الإقامة على بُعد 3 كم فقط من مؤسسة عبور الفيلة الأيتام للبرية، ويوفِّر إطلالة على نهر الركوانا، كما يقدم أماكن سكن على طراز الكوخ الريفي مع شرفة أرضية مُحاطة بالخضرة. The hotel was a great experience for us. We upgraded our room and got a tent with a patio with a view over the lake, and it was the best. The tent is very nice and clean, the bathroom is big and clean, and the staff is very kind and helpful with everything. We had drinks and lunch on the patio, while looking at birds and monkeys in the trees over the river (tip: bring some binoculars. We used ours alot looking at many different birds). The food is very good and the surroundings while eating are so nice. We booked our safari tour through the hotel, on booking.com, and when we asked the staff what time was best to go they said at 5.30 in the morning. And they were very correct. We had a jeep to ourselves. Our safari driver was so fun, nice and very observant. He was fast at driving (but still careful) and running (into the ticket office), so we were the very first to enter the park and within 10 seconds we saw two pregnant elephants and a wild boar with babies! We had around 5-10 minutes with them alone before a few other cars came, and it was a great experience. Our driver took us places where there were no other cars to see elephants, crocodiles, tucan birds, deers and many more animals. We felt like we were completely alone in the park. He could tell us many facts about animals and was very eager to show us how beautiful the park was. He also made sure that we felt that we had seen enough and satisfied with the tour, and we really were. This experience is something we will never forget, and the hotel and safari is definitely something we want to come back to.

Clean, nice tents. Jungle river at the cam, you can easily swim there with monkeys above your head. On top, great hospitality and service, great food.

This unique tent is set on the border of the National Park and comes with a private bathroom. Friendly staff, clean camp, and excellent amenities. Highly recommended

Featuring carpet flooring, tents come with an outdoor living area and a private bathroom with hot-water showers. Includes a torch, umbrellas and a luggage rack. The manager of the camp was extremely kind and available to chat, to show us around. The tent are perfect: very big and with all the services you might want. The food was very good. We had the best experience. Couldn’t ask for anything different!
