We were warmly welcomed and the place is loved by adults as well as children. Asanka's wife Sadamali prepared our dinner and it was the best meal we had in Sri Lanka. The hotel arranged the safari. The jeep driver who provides excellent service is the best guide. The sound of the river is like a bavana throughout the night. Love it.

Både båtturen och kvällsvandringen var mycket bra 😊

The tent features air conditioning. The unit has 2 beds. River View Safari Cottage. A great area in front of the beautiful river. Good value for money, dinner was very good!! And the staff is very friendly. The beds are comfortable and the room is very clean! We took a safari with them and it was great. Totally recommend it

This is one of the best locations I’ve visited so far. Situated in a very remote area where there’s limited access to outer world. You have to take a basic nature trail to reach the destination which my family enjoyed much. once you entered the premises it’s like you stepped into another country. Very calm and peaceful environment so we need to adopt to the destination. I recommend this place to all nature lovers who look for places where you can blend with nature. Limited electricity so prepare yourself with backups. (power banks, flashlights, ect)

Kottawatta surprised us at every turn; from the cold facial towels upon entry to the poolside drinks to an amazing curry for dinner. As a plus, the room was extremely comfortable. Our safari organized through the hotel was exceptional!

Athgira River Camp ligger precis vid ingången till Udawalawe nationalpark med utsikt över floden Rakwana. Här bor du nära Udawalawes reservoar och barnhemmet för elefanter. We were greeted by all the staff with a little welcome drink while our luggage was already brought to our tent. Our standard tent / room was beautiful, tidy and clean but also made us feel like real jungle pioneers at night, where we could hear nothing but the river and the animals - no Tuktuk honking for once! Our bbq candle light dinner at the river bank was a mix of local and western food and very romantic. The staff is very friendly and tended to all our needs. Breakfast and pool were fantastic too. 10/10 glamping experience - would recommend and do again if possible!

Ägaren ordnade med en suverän middag och efter safarin en superfin frukost. Kan verkligen rekommendera detta hotell.
