A great area in front of the beautiful river. Good value for money, dinner was very good!! And the staff is very friendly. The beds are comfortable and the room is very clean! We took a safari with them and it was great. Totally recommend it

The camp is in a remote area surrounded by protected forests. The last leg of the journey to the camp is undertaken on foot, accompanied by the camp staff, providing a unique and invigorating way to reach your retreat in the wilderness. This is one of the best locations I’ve visited so far. Situated in a very remote area where there’s limited access to outer world. You have to take a basic nature trail to reach the destination which my family enjoyed much. once you entered the premises it’s like you stepped into another country. Very calm and peaceful environment so we need to adopt to the destination. I recommend this place to all nature lovers who look for places where you can blend with nature. Limited electricity so prepare yourself with backups. (power banks, flashlights, ect)

Athgira River Camping offers a great outdoor dining experience as well as a barbecue dinner and cooking demonstrations. Real wild cocktails and a nice wine selection are available as well. The athgira was a beautiful centre to go from out safari from. The staff were so extraordinar y kind and attentive. We had got engaged 2 days before and they had arranged a suprise afternoon tea gardens followed by an exclusive rose petal and candle filled engagement dinner. We love how much of a team they are and got to know them all. Special thanks to chalani, kithamini, Chanuka, kansaka and hinusha. Couldn't recommend more

Offering a barbecue and views of the garden, River Glamping by Gaga bees is located in Udawalawe in the Ratnapura District Region, 8 km from Udawalawe National Park. Free private parking is available on site. Absolutely beautiful property with wonderful accommodating staff who were so helpful. Madu was so wonderful and his cooking was absolutely delicious. We are so glad we stayed here.
