Great location, it was like a paradise. Definitely the nicest place on the entire island — not a hardcore disco party place, but with warm-hearted staff and good taste in music and style. We also loved the food there. We have a great 2 hours sunrise yoga class. Also, the hotel was environmentally conscious, not plastics, and solar panels were used.

I cannot properly describe the magic of this place. It is a complete detox, without trying to be. You are on a nearly empty island with no roads or establishments, the water is warm like a bath. The huts and tents are nestled into the jungle, a literal stone’s throw from a white, sandy beach. It is quiet. People at this camp/resort tend to snorkel, hike, and read in hammocks all day and not much else. The food is homemade and healthy. The staff are warm and accommodating. I originally booked for five nights, not knowing if I could handle much more in such a secluded area without getting bored. Within 5 minutes of arrival, I extended my stay. Don’t think twice- if you have come across this wild place in your search, you are meant to be here.

I absolutely love this place and it is always hard to say goodbye. The jungle immersion experience of living in a hut made from the jungle around you tugs at your heartstrings. And the family that runs it are angels for creating such a space. Visit once and you’ll be back.

Deze accommodatie ligt op het eiland Koh Rong, in de regio Preah Sihanouk. Tamu Koh Rong ligt op 6 km van de haven Sok San. Location is fantastic with a very remote feel, but easy to reach by speedboat that the hotel can arrange. The beach is great with white sand and lots of palm trees. Breakfast was perfect, we loved the air-conditioned tents and had an all-round fantastic stay. Would definitely come again. The hotel team were extremely helpful and made the whole experience absolutely enjoyable.

Tents open up to views of the sea and are equipped with a mattress, pillows, a fan and a blanket. There is also a charging station for the guests' electrical appliances. So nice and cozy bungalows and the women there were so helpful and sweet
