I can’t even explain how happy we are with our stay in Talek Bush camp. We booked it at the very last minute and I was not sure what to expect as we never slept in this kind of safari tent before. Everyone was so nice, friendly, welcoming and helpful. The tents were really specious and with enough space in between to provide some comfort and privacy. We arrived just before dinner time around 19 o’clock and we were served the food immediately. We stayed for two nights and both dinners were delicious and with a lot of vegetarian options. For the two days, we had our breakfast and lunch packed and we had a picnic inside the park while watching the wildlife around. It was just magical. The location is perfect just outside the Talek gate, so you don’t have to travel a lot early in the morning to enter the park. We had a problem with the guide that we booked before our arrival and we ended up having no guide for the next day at 22 o’clock. We called the owner Mustafa late in the evening, asking him if he could help us somehow. He not only picked up the phone despite the late hour but he also arranged a guide for us immediately and it turned out to be the best experience we had so far. Our new guide did the impossible to find us all of the big cats and we even saw all the big five in one single day in the park. if you happen to be there on Friday night they also have a cultural night around the campfire with Masai people explaining about their culture and dancing. We would be very happy to come back again if we have the chance. Just a perfect stay.

Sitting on a shady raised platform facing the Talek river, each luxury tent covers approximately 26sqm and is fitted with a queen size bed or 2 twin beds. This trip was exceptional, thanks to the staff of the Mara Intrepids Camp. We were travelling with three small kids and the team adjusted meal times and gave us a dedicated game drive host who did drives according to the kids sleep schedules. The adventurers club was fantastic, outdoor games and educational at the same time. Two mins from the airstrip, brilliant family tents, complete with hot water bottles at night. Amazing food, with great child options for picky kids. Shout out to Moses, Ngala and Diana who made the stay extra special.

Sarah, her husband and the people work there are so kind and friendly. They helped us a lot with a problem in our car. We also booked a guia there (Alan) and he was wonderfull.

Located in Aitong, Enkusero Mara offers accommodation with seating area. This luxury tent provides free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. Enkusero is a small boutique camp, owned and run by William who is a local Masai, a passionate host and an excellent guide with15 years of experience. He took us for tailor- made safaris and went out of his way to show us the Big Five and countless other wonderful creatures. The location was fantastic and ideally located to visit the Masai Mara reserve. Our tent was luxurious and beautifully furnished . They had wooden decks with large verandas, for us to enjoy the sight of zebras, wildebeest and gazelles that grazed and freely roamed around the camp. The camp was exclusive and intimate in character with 3-4 luxury tents, perfect for one large or two small families. The food was par excellence . Robert is a fabulous chef who delighted in serving us exquisite dishes, most beautifully presented. We were quite apprehensive of food as we are vegetarians but it seemed no trouble for the skilled chef. The team, service and hospitality was superb. We took packed breakfast on most morning game drives. They were delicious and plentiful. I would like to make a special mention of the bush dinner with camp fire and lanterns which was really spectacular. William also organised sundowner drinks and it was simply humbling watching the sunset in the vast, peaceful setting of the Mara. We thoroughly enjoyed a visit to the traditional village of the Masai community, which William was happy to organise. To add to all this, the money spent at the camp directly benefits the local Masai community as it provides direct employment and there are no middlemen involved. We stayed 5 nights and each day was above all our expectations. Fantastic place where to stay if you want to be in the middle of wilderness and at the same time feel safe, special and be treated like royalty. The rooms were spacious and clean, filled with all amenities and the service we received was exceptional. Alex was our guide for our game drives and he was incredible and so knowledgeable! We received great food every day and some highlights were a surprise lunch in the middle of our safari day. Our experience was really tailored to what we wanted. Would highly recommend! Also the views were amazing from the camp.

The standard tents comes fitted with a wardrobe, desk and safari chairs. it’s stupendous: it has a big park where we can see small animals, a nice swimming pool, a spa, the service is very good. There is a nice bar with a bone fire and another house after a bridge where you can sit, relax and have some tea and treats. The room is amazing and the bed very comfortable . A great choice

Perched on the hills of the private and secluded Megwarra escarpment lies Entumoto Safari Camp. The camp offers panoramic views over the Mara plains and features an outdoor pool, restaurant and bar. Everything about this spot was perfect!

This tent features views of the savannah plains. It comes with linen and towels, as well as access to a shared outdoor shower and toilet. Maji Moto was the highlight of our Kenyan trip. We felt at home and so warmly welcomed by the amazing staff. The food was delicious and our overall experience was just perfect. We left this place with full hearts and incredible memories. We highly recommend Maji Moto Eco camp for those looking for a true de connecting experience in a unic and beautiful place with authentic and kind people
