There's a nice trail to a Sugaring Shack (about a mile) that we walked; a bit muddy with snow this time of year, but worth going. All in all we had a great time!

Lea was amazing! She answered all of our questions. She also gave helpful suggestions for breakfast and dinner alternatives when the restaurant was closed. Not only would I recommend this motel but I would also go back to stay in the different rooms and trailer :)

The yurt was beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and stocked with everything you could need. The staff and owners are very friendly and hospitable. The lake is pristine and quiet. We felt very much at home and relaxed. We are sure to return for another week next year.

Be warned: cell service is spotty, and there is no wifi. But that came like a breath of fresh air, being able to disconnect completely.
