The property is full of the most whimsical hares. It was delightful watching them early in the morning! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The environment was so comfortable. I enjoyed having a BBQ dinner in this amazing tent, and the supermarket is nearby just 10 mins drive.

El Purling Brook Falls Gwongorella es un tranquilo refugio de selva tropical situado junto al parque nacional de Springbrook. Amazing location; yurt was cosy and very comfortable. Such a great space to relax and unwind. The property is right next to the national park and waterfall; so special to have nature on the doorstep! Meals provided by Ebony were tasty and generous.

The whole place was magical. We loved bathing in the outdoor shower and bath surrounded by tropical plants. We were here not long after cyclone Jasper hit, so most places in Daintree were closed and there were no other guests. We had to cancel a few tours we booked because of the cyclone but we think that was a blessing in disguise since it gave us time to relax, cook delicious meals in the outdoor kitchen, cool off in the swimming hole a few minutes walk away, walk north along the closed road, helped clear some of the deadfall along one of the trails (we volunteered). There were so many different rainforest sounds in the day and at night. The 5 nights we were there we didn’t use our car to get anywhere, other than when we arrived and left! We will be back one day in the future.

It was a great little getaway just like the name of the property eludes to. It was very comfortable spacious clean and many added extras that you don’t find in other units.
