Our guide Thomas and Sean were so knowledgeable and always patient. I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking to experience the Big Five! Special mention to Kathlyn who was always available and made sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable during our stay. The owners Jørgen and Lisbeth have done a fabulous job to allow us to experience this moment in the wild.

Check-in was simple and easy. The host was very well prepared and accommodating. The tent was very well equipped with all the necessary amenities and comforts needed. It was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed looking out to giraffes and springbok up close to our tent, which is a very special treat. Thank you to the host for this special gem.

This hotel is a sight to be seen. I felt like I was staying in a multi-thousand dollar-a-night hotel within the game reserve. The decorations, the size of the room, the bed, the cotton sheets, and the view of monkeys and other animals outside my sliding glass door. The amenities provided in the rooms made you never want to leave. I have had coffee in the morning on my private balcony in my bathrobe after my wonderful hot shower in the luxurious bathroom. At night we sat by the pool drinking wine after our dinner. This exceptional hotel is the best-valued hotel I have ever visited.

The place is incredible. The tent was luxury, with colonial furniture and wonderful decorations. The allocation was perfect, in front of the lake, where some animals came to visit us at night. The staff is amazing: friendly, professional and very well skilled (we already miss Pelon!!). We enjoyed the game drives and bush walks. Special mention to the restaurant: fine cuisine.

Bundox Safari Lodge is absolutely beautiful. Our tent was super private and we loved being in nature, the amazingly friendly staff and the three course meal and the breakfast on the deck the next morning. We felt super welcome and right at home. Absolute bonus that there is no wifi signal or reception in the rooms and at the camp fire. We absolutely loved our stay. We did it as a stop over from Johannesburg into the Kruger and would highly recommend. The stars were incredible!

We had the most perfect time The lodge is absolutely stunning, the room are away from each other so there is intimacy. The location in front of the river allows us to see all king of animals like elephants bathing in the river in front of us The food is so good thanks to the chef, it was delicious The game drives were perfect and Chris was amazing, always with great care

It is a little paradies. Driving past the gat we quickly saw zebra, antilopes, buffalo, warthog and giraffe. Really a beautiful little game reserve. Our cottage was spacious, clean and had everything you need. Very peaceful and a lovely owner+staff. We could stay only 1 night, but would love to come back for longer.

Tyvärr var det kallt, regnigt och blåsigt under vår vistelse men den fantastiska personalen ansträngde sig till det yttersta för att ge oss en bra upplevelse. Mycket bra game drives och naturupplevelser, god mat och mysig camp. Sista dagen överaskade personalen oss med att duka upp frukost vid floden. En fantastisk upplevelse!

Game drives, Never and Mateo's excellent knowledge and personalities. They truly provided a once in a lifetime experience for us, getting close to animals and doing their best to take on any requests. Their local perspective, knowledge and stories added a unique twist compared to other game drives we've done. Never was the outgoing friendly Energetic personality while Mateo added a sense of safety in the bush. As mentioned they both have outstanding knowledge. Never's game drives are like a fun learning experience while driving through the African bush. Mateo has many years of experience in tracking and we enjoyed his in depth knowledge. Very personal and family run bush camp. Jenni and Kristian are great hosts. We enjoyed the time over new year at this wonderful location. The tents are spacious and very clean. There is a large pool with sunbeds available and also a nice place to sit around the fire. The very good Breakfast and delicious Dinner is served together with the owners which is perfect for interesting conversations and sharing experiences. The Game Drives with Kristian were informative and varied with nice animal sightings. Simply a beautiful bush camp - highly recommended.
