The accommodation blends into the beautiful natural jungle and beach landscape and feels perfect for the setting. Be advised that it is a bit rustic but there's a shower and a flushing toilet and our bed was really comfortable. There are no plug points in the room but you can charge your devices in the dining area. A mosquito net is provided which was great as it meant we could leave the windows open for a cooling sea breeze at night. We were a stone's throw from the water but also surrounded by trees, it was magical. The staff were helpful and friendly but unobtrusive. The food is traditional Khmer cuisine and everything we had was delicious and made with a lot of care. There are also a few other resorts in the bay that serve different food styles. Sunset Beach is more remote than some of the other bays on the island and does not have a ferry port or really much other boat traffic making it perfect for swimming, paddling and snorkeling. This does mean that you have to hike in to the accommodation but it's completely manageable, just be sure to pack in a backpack rather than a suitcase or kit bag. All the pertinent information and directions are sent out in an email as soon as you book. This stands out as one of our best beach holidays, highly recommended.

Friendly owner making his dreams come true. Quiet and peaceful and still close to the village. We loved the Jungle Bar and Kitchen situated between the bungalows and the village. We ate there everyday after noticing their 5 star reviews on Google maps! The food and ocean views were spectacular!!! Peaceful, relaxing, and affordable stay.

There is a nice little private stretch of beach just outside the hotel with a pier where you amazingly could be completely alone for the most part! The staff was helpful, easy-going and flexible. The cabins were charming and very close to the lagoon. There was no AC but a pretty quite ceiling fan in the middle of the room just above the beds that did the job will enough in march.

There was no AC but you get a small portable fan which at the lowest speed lasts you for 2 Nights. The food was good but not a lot of options. There are some things to spend your time with like: books which you can borrow, a pool table and some board games.
