So basically I was left stranded without an option to travel around. But Ricardo and Joana didn't leave me like that and did their best to help me enjoy my stay. They picked me up from the airport, the next day they organized a guide who took me around the western road. For my last 3 days they organized a car for me and enough fuel despite the crisis. They were both wonderful!

At the farm stay, every unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. Fantastic helpful staff who couldnt have done more. The tent/pod we stayed in was exactly as described and everything worked perfectly. Absolutely brilliant breakfast location overlooking the jungle and the waterfall and the food, especially the fruit and coffee, was plentiful. The property is out of the way which in itself gives you a true rainforest experience. Cant think of anywhere I have stayed like it. Would love to go again

The nearest airport is São Tomé International Airport, 19 km from the farm stay. Wow! We arrived late and the place looked like a heavenly shelter in the forest. we found out it is! The pictures are not pimped, the place is like that or even better, the rooms were clean like a nuclear lab. The room was cosy, the bed perfect, we simply couldnt have wished for better. Maria is a cheerful and all in all a wonderful host. we are grateful for all! Their chocolate mousse unforgottable! the place is en route Bombaim, so brace for road conditions, but if you want to check more remote and smaller places/sanctuaries, the place is for you! no internet, no cellular signal! enjoy your digital detox, thats what you probably came for.
