There is a private entrance at the farm stay for the convenience of those who stay. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the mountain and garden. Beautiful unique home. The grounds of the property are very well maintained. Truly a one of a kind experience. Staff were quick to respond to any of our messages. The breakfast was great!

With mountain views, this accommodation offers a patio. The farm stay provides garden views, a sun terrace and a 24-hour front desk. Absolutely everything. We loved staying for 3 nights with Caroline, her dogs and her horses. We wish that it had been longer. Caroline is an amazing woman and an inspiration. Her home and gardens are beautiful and in a perfect location outside of the city for exploring Sao Miguel and when coming from or going to the airport. Coffee, tea, cookies and fruit were always available.

The Lagoa do Fogo is one of the island’s most famous tourist spots. It has lush green surroundings, several hiking trails around it and is one of the largest lagoons in all of the Azores. It is a 30-minute drive from the Ponta Delgada centre, which has a historical city centre, bars cafés and local shops. The unit is 500 metres from a beach area and there is a commercial area just 100 metres away, with a variety of shops. It is a fantastic location and is very tastefully decorated. Modern but keeping the historic charm of an old Monastery. The staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating as well. Loved our stay.

A former summer house, Quinta da Abelheira offers an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by a large lawn area. It is located in Fajã de Baixo, 4 km from Ponta Delgada, in Azores.

The Quinta’s rooms are decorated in a sober way and include a cable TV. Each includes its own private bathroom. The property offers views of the mountains and the coast. On the morning of my check-out, I was the only guest at the Quinta. However, the breakfast was as big and as vast as I had seen in the photos, I got to try a bit of everything and it was all delicious (the Azorean cheeses are very tasty). Even though I had a late check-in, the front desk staff was very friendly and, on my check-out day, they allowed me to use to use the common areas up until I had to go to the airport for my flight.

Guests can their unit's kitchen to prepare their own meals. All include a microwave, oven, refrigerator, toaster, cutlery and a coffee machine. Also featured are outdoor barbecue facilities. For more meal options, several local restaurants are available within a 5-minute drive from the farm. Everything was sparkling clean. The place was even more beautiful than on the pictures. Everyday all the towels are changed and the house was cleaned. You have everything you need - even milk from a local farm for your coffee, juice, tea. If you want to make a breakfast, you can directly have some lettuce from their garden. Paolo give us a list with things to see, places to have a dinner in, and book us a trip. Definitely will come back and I will recommend it to my friends. It's probably the best cozy hotel!
