Located in Houghton, The Residence is a boutique hotel that offers spacious suites with a spa bath, and a balcony overlooking the garden, the tennis court or the outdoor pool. The whole place felt like a home. It was small enough that you'd feel comfortable but not too small that it feels crowded. The decor is very interesting and homey, like old-time luxury home that invites you to just sit anywhere. The artworks are well chosen and brings more life in the hotel. The overall layout is a bit of a maze but it is not overwhelming or confusing. Everyone was so nice and pleasant. We had a late flight out and was able to get a late check out of 3pm. The room layout of the Courtyard room was amazing, very spacious for 2 people. The staff welcomed us well and remember us throughout the stay. Very good breakfast too! Great location, only a few minute drive from Rosebank. Superb service from everyone including the airport transfer.
