The room from this Hotel is amazing, definitely a really good one to consider if traveling alone or with your partner. I recommend this stay for couples, waking up in those rooms give you a good sense of comfort. Even though I recommend it for couples, I must say it is not the most romantic place, since it's accommodations are also used for business.

Great location, two blocks from the waterfront and central to the old city. Several nice design touches in the room. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly and quite helpful staff. My son got bit by a dog in Buenos Aires and needed to get his third rabies vaccine in Montevideo. The staff made phone calls for us and found out the hospital we needed to visit to get his vaccine and the hours they were open for this. She was a real life-saver in a complicated situation for us. Would gladly stay here again.

Don is an exclusive boutique hotel with art deco architecture and contemporary interiors. Really cool location right opposite the fantastic old market. The room was beautiful. Stunning in a supercool designer kinda way. Super comfy bed. Great omelette. Wonderful staff member on reception.

Boasting a shared lounge, FAUNA Montevideo is situated in Montevideo, less than 1 km from Independencia Square. We really enjoyed our stay. The host was very nice and helpful. He told us about great places for food and music. Place even better than on pictures. You can feel a good taste of the owner in each detail.
