Good we took the decision to stay here and not in the downtown as the strip is happening and a buzzing one ! Helpful and polite staff at the hotel to top it all . Hence a memorable trip to DC

This hotel is situated along the mile-long pier of The Wharf, featuring restaurants, retail and fun activities on DC’s Potomac River. This is a great hotel. Can't say it any better. Worth the stay.

Located in Southwest Waterfront, Salamander Washington DC is 730 metres from the L'Enfant Plaza Metro station. A full-service spa is available for a fee, and rooms offer city or water views. The breakfast was fantastic, really a highlight. I'd definitely stay again. The comfort, peace and quiet and proximity to the Wharf area for food/nightlife is great. The water pressure in the shower was great.
