Located on Kendwa Beach in Nungwi, the Sunset Kendwa Beach Hotel offers spacious rooms and bungalows. It features a dive centre, a restaurant and 24-hour front desk. we loved the hotel and Kendwa area so much that we decided to extend our stay from 3 to 5 days. The place is squeaky clean and very well maintained. During our visit, the hotel was under going renovations and expansion so something to look forward to! we stayed in the bungalows (deluxe rooms) and they were lovely: spacious, comfortable with a picturesque view from its balcony. Sitting in the balcony to enjoy a cup of coffee was a blessing. The staff are helpful and friendly especially the room service and pool/ beach teams. Also, I am beyond appreciative for the reception team. The reception works around the hour. They are ready to help and support with any matter to ensure guests comfort. To count some of the things that the reception team went out of their way to help with are: - helping us activate and recharge Zanzibari SIM card at 2 am. - Rearranging twin bed rooms to be king bed rooms in order to accommodate our request to change our rooms away from the construction area. - Rearranging their booked rooms to allow us to complete our stay in the same rooms after we extended our stay on very short notice. - Helping us get taxis at better rates than anywhere else. - helping us exchange currency at better rates than anywhere around. I loved the baked goods range at breakfast and the daily fresh brewed coffee. The newly added pool is refreshing and perfect for swimming laps. I used the pool every time there was high waves at the beach! I loved the beach front area because it had many different seating spaces (sofas under shade, tables and chairs, sun beds, hammocks, benches, swings) so it was not like most hotels just sun beds stuffed next to each other.

The hotel staff is simply magnificent, I have never met such caring, polite and well-mannered workers. special thanks to the reception staff. I was in Kendwa Rocks last week.

Hooajalise välibasseini, aia, terrassi ja restoraniga Tropicana Garden asub Kendwas. Selles kolmetärnihotellis on baar. The G.Manager, supervisors and all the staffs were really amazing. Big thumbs up to the GM Azhar, Walid, Lookman, Tina and the all the staffs for your enormous effort in providing exceptional guest services. The food was delicious, the security and the environment was excellent, the staffs were friendly, helpful and ever smiling, the housekeeping staffs were outstanding including the entertainment teams who had great performance for the guests. I would highly recommend anyone who's willing to spend their holiday vacation to book with Tropicana without having a second thought to enjoy a hysterical holiday experience!!! ❤ 😍 see you soon!!

A great place to stay, with the best location on the island - the ocean is right on your doorstep, the rooms are so beautiful decorated, the staff is very friendly and helpful! A big plus - you get the best curry on the island in the restaurant!
