Panoramic terrace and rooms overlooking the Funchal Bay await guests at this 5-star hotel. Located 2 km from Funchal, it also features a sea-view outdoor pool and a spa with massages. This hotel is amazing. Everything was perfect. We had a very short stay but will come back for sure. Greetins to our amazing receptionist Tanya who sent us champagne in the room after we told her this is our last night at Madeira and that we got married there. It was so sweet and so pure of her! Staff is amazing, room was beautiful and all of the facilities are right on point. See you again!

Located amongst the famous gardens of Monte, in the heart of this romantic and lush village in the hills above Funchal, OurMadeira - Babosas Village, gardénias and greenspaces features spacious... Everything, literally, is so great. The amazing views during the breakfast. The really diverse and madeirian breakfast.The super lovely staff. The super clean room. The super confortable bed. All the great attractions surrounding the house. The bus station next by, the free parking lot.

Dioclecio was a very friendly and helpful host and his responses when we messaged him were instant.. Everything was really clean and we had everything we needed. A very beautiful place to stay. We would highly recommend it.

We loved our Eco Shelter stay! It felt like a real escape. Lovely location, beautiful park and surroundings. The hut was perfect. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. We received a lovely welcome from Dioclecio, who was really friendly and great at communicating. If we visit Madeira again, we will definitely stay here :) Highly recommend. Thank you!

We had the most wonderful stay at the Mountain Eco Shelter. The location is beautiful - the lodges are in a beautiful Ecological Park full of plants and flowers. You can do hikes directly from the lodges. The lodges themselves have everything you need - a great kitchen, a comfortable bed and a balcony with a stunning view. The staff here are really friendly and helpful. There’s even a snackbar down the road where you can grab dinner & drinks. We loved every minute of our stay here and we are already planning to come back again.

Lovely cabin surrounded by mountain views, we saw so many stars at night. There's a great place to eat and drink (O Barracão), just 10 mins walk from the cabin, and it's only 20 minutes drive from Funchal (we had a rental car, but I believe there's a bus stop nearby too). It felt like a little home away from home, bed was very comfortable, shower was excellent and the little kitchenette had a stove top, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and fridge. Our host was wonderful, very welcoming and gave us lots of recommendations. I would definitely stay here again!
