From providing helpful recommendations to accommodating our needs, she truly made us feel at home. However, there are good transport links into the city with a tram-stop located just 5 minutes away, taking 15 minutes to Central Station. Our hosts were excellent. They couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable and offered up their secure parking space so we could park our motorbike for the duration of our stay. The location of the apartment is right on the banks of the river. A canoe was available if we wanted. However, the weather was not kind enough for us to explore the area by boat. The room was comfortable, clean and airy. Note however, due to government restrictions of the provision of "facilities" for this type of accommodation, the only cooking appliance is a microwave. Otherwise, the kitchenette is quite adequate.

The place looks like a little quiet oasis very close to the busy town center. It was definitely one of the best places in which we stayed in Amsterdam, and we went there many times. Marjolein and Jan are very hospitable and friendly. Highly recommended
