The hotel was impeccable and the staff at reception and in the restaurants were very helpful and accommodating. The rooms were comfortable with good beds and an amazing shower. I would definitely stay again.

The gentleman at reception was very helpful. We got there in the evening and wanted something to eat he asked the porter to take us to a place to order some food..helped us out in the morning with getting sim cards etc...100% great customer service

Located at Maputo Bay, Afrin Prestige Hotel features a spa, fitness centre and a restaurant. The Tunduru Botanical Gardens is 1 km away. Free WiFi is available. The breakfast was good. It had wide variety of food and all of it was very delicious, The location is also very good. it has everything near, there is beach, mall, city center and halal restaurants just at walking distance.

With an outdoor pool and a garden, GuestHouse 1109 is located in the centre of Maputo, 20 minutes’ walk from the beach. It offers on suite accommodation and free WiFi throughout. I spent 6 nights of a recent extended stay in Mozambique in Guesthouse 1109. I was met by the owner (who spoke excellent English) on arrival who - along with all the staff - welcomed me warmly to the Guesthouse. My rooms (on the various occasions I stayed) were always spotlessly clean with everything I needed - including satellite TV, AC, excellent wifi and constant hot water. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. The outdoor communal area was a really nice area to relax either during the day or after coming back from the city in the evening. The honesty bar is also a nice touch. The location is excellent - in a few minutes you are in the city centre (on foot) but far away enough to have a peaceful night's sleep. The area is safe too with a great Brazilian restaurant right next door and a fantastic local bar/restaurant at the tennis club a few mins walk away. All staff were pleasant, friendly and professional. I would also really recommend Mr Bila as a taxi driver - he was always reliably on time; he was friendly and charged reasonable prices and I really appreciated the fact that he waited for me at the airport without any fuss when I was delayed on account of the border formalities. I would recommend Guesthouse 1109 for any stay - business or leisure and know that I will return there when I get the chance to return to Mozambique.

Everything, they change bedding all the time. The have air conditioners and Fans too. They have a very nice and clean kitchen. I love it. There’s a beautiful view at the balcony.
