Really peaceful could hear the ocean with h the door closed....

I could've cried when I had my espresso after 2 weeks of only having watery coffee, it was that good. Anyway, room itself was great: working A/C, spacious, good shower temperature. This place was great value for money. Only around a 5min walk to the beach.

Thaprobane Beach House is located on Unawatuna's main beach. It features 2 dining options and air-conditioned rooms with views of the ocean and greenery. What I liked about this hotel is that everything, absolutely everything was amazing! I highly recommend room #11, a penthouse, it has the best ocean view with balcony! It gave me opportunity to fully relax during my vacation and forget about ongoing work issues, while having delicious meal in the room 🤩 On the last day of my staying I got a table reservation near the ocean with a "goodbye" lettering and a candle! It was soooo cute and unexpected, I was touched! 🥰 In addition to all the above, Thaproban Beach House has a great food and super helpful personnel, which made my stay even more pleasant! I'd like to especially recognize following personnel: 1. Sanda, a reseption lady, for making sure I have all my reservations on time (massage, joga, palm reading - another benefits this hotel is offering), and for answering any of my whatsapp requests 24/7! 😊 2. Mr. Thunga - a brilliant Chef, the memories of how delightful his food tastes (especially calamaries) make me wanna go back😍 3. All the personnel who made my stay unforgettable: Harshani, Sachini, Chaminda and my tuk-tuk driver Buddhikka for his smiles! And to all the others for their kindness! ❤ Special thanks to Mr. Thilina for always being around, being so nice and looking after my comfort! Thank you, guys, for taking care of me. I enjoyed my recent stay at Surf Una Beach Hotel, it was very good. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was enveloped in a warm atmosphere of hospitality. The rooms were comfortable and there was good air conditioning, ensuring a perfect temperature throughout my stay. Additionally, the cleanliness of the facilities, exceeded my expectations, and I could use them care free. However, what truly set Surf Una Beach Hotel apart, was their exceptional customer service. I had the misfortune of misplacing a pair of shoes during my stay, but to my amazement, they were promptly found and returned to me. This level of care and dedication is rare to find, and I applaud the staff for going above and beyond to ensure their guests' comfort and satisfaction. Kudos to the team for their outstanding service—I will definitely be returning!"

The staff were brilliant we had to make a change to our booking last minute and they were very helpful. The hotel was lovely and directly on the beach. The hotel also recommended turtle beach which was one of the highlight of our trip! The hotel restaurant is also great with plenty of options for all tastes and very tasty food.
