A true ryokan experience with an exceptional food service. This heritage building is well-kept, dignified, and an absolute delight. There was no need to leave the building to have a satisfying bath—indoor or outdoor. I loved the private bath, and the overall tradition of the ryokan. The staff was so accommodating of our late check-in, took care to deliver our luggage to the station while we go to the Snow Monkey Park, and were attentive to our needs.

Tawaraya er í 5 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Yudanaka-lestarstöðinni og býður upp á gistirými í japönskum stíl með ókeypis WiFi og flatskjá. Every member of staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome. As it is a small ryokan, it really felt like the service was personalised. The set dinner menu was absolutely delicious - many and varied courses, expertly prepared. On the day I left, I needed to get to the train station before the taxi company was open for business. One of the staff kindly drive me to the station.

Yasuragi er lítil gistikrá með 6 herbergjum sem býður upp á Ryokan-máltíðir og notalegar innréttingar. Relaxing onsen and delicious breakfast. Only wish we had more time to relax in this lovely town.

Aburaya Tousen offers luxurious contemporary Japanese-style accommodation with an amazing 11 types of hot-spring baths and free WiFi. Great hotel with fabulous onsen (both the room/private and the hotel guests onsen). Spacious and clean room and wonderful roof top bar experience. Staff at dinner, breakfast and at the roof top were an absolute dream of kindness and professionalism. During the private dinner the chef came to prepare the sushi by our table which was incredible. The food was absolutely exquisite using local produce and prepared and presented with such a delicacy as I've never seen before! What a treat! Walking distance from the station but possible to get a ride from the hotel (need to ask them in advance). A great place to stay!

Hotel Tsubakino er í 3 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Yudanaka-lestarstöðinni og býður upp á varmaböð innan- og utandyra með útsýni yfir snævi tinda fjallanna. The hotel is exceptional in every way. Perfect location, close to the station but not noisy at all. The staff was incredibly polite, helpful and professional; they turned our stay in an amazing experience. The facilities at the hotel are great and clean. I would personally recommend the private onsen, the sake bar during the evening and the breakfast. All these things have exceeded any expectations I had, in ways I could have not have thought of. We will always cherish the memories of this brief holiday.

Kamei-no-Yu er hefðbundið gistirými sem er umkringt fallegum japönskum garði og tjörnum. Það er bæði með varmaböð inni og úti. Ókeypis Wi-Fi Internet er í boði hvarvetna á gististaðnum. The staff was just beyond wonderful.

Yudanaka Seifuso er staðsett á Yudanaka-svæðinu með heitum hverum og er umkringt fallegum fjöllum. Það er með 3 hveraböð og herbergi í hefðbundnum japönskum stíl með tatami-mottum (ofinn hálmur). Traditional ryokan with very rustic feel, exactly what we wanted. Location is right by the station which is super convenient, and there is a Lawson and 7-11 within 3-min walk. There is a private onsen which you can go to for free without paying extra! You just go in and lock the door and it’s yours for however long you want. They provided free tea and cookies in our room daily. One of the owners was kind enough to drive us to the Snow Monkey park, which we appreciated a lot !!

Located a 7-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station, Hotel Housei offers free WiFi access, indoor/outdoor hot spring baths and air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms. This is one of the best places I have ever stayed in. The included breakfast was wonderful. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The room was perfect. An all around wonderful place to stay. Also it was well priced.
