The private onsen was a blast and our tatami room had cute chairs, traditional clothing to wear in the guesthouse and comfortable futons. They picked us up at the train station and drove us directly to the monkey park. Getting back from there by bus was easy. We were also driven to the train station next morning.

Tomo is the best! He is so friendly and accommodating. The property is beautiful and the rooms are perfect! The food was seriously some of the best we had in our entire 1 month stay in Japan. Onsens were gorgeous too!

Yudanaka Seifuso is located in the Yudanaka hot springs area, surrounded by scenic mountains. It features 3 hot spring baths and traditional Japanese-style rooms with tatami-mat (woven-straw)... A wonderful ryokan experience where every single detail is taken care of, it really looks like an animal crossing house where every piece belongs to a well thought vintage set ( in a good way, definitely) the family attending the business is very kind and the ofuros, while not the biggest, are perfect for a cozy feeling in the mountains
